Death relieved him of his suffering Jan. 28th after a lingering illness and while confined in a private sanitarium in Atlanta. He was about 50 years of age, a good citizen and successful farmer. By hard work and economy he accumulated a nice little fortune, which was left by will to his brother, Mr. P.C. Watson. He had no family. The two had lived together and worked together for years, and were as close in their dealings with each other as brothers ever become. Additional Comments: Note - John L. Watson was born on February 18, 1865 to Perry and Martha Hart Watson. He is buried at Pine Level Cemetery. John was a brother of my great- great grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Watson Layfield. I would like to correspond with anyone related to the Watson family. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
