J.D. Gresham

He was born in Meriwether County May 28, 1861 and departed this life May 18, 
1912.  He was married to Lula A. Slayton December 26, 1888.  He lived in 
Meriwether County at the time he was married.

Mr. Gresham moved to Taylor County in 1893, after which he joined the Primitive 
Baptist Church, of which he was a consistent member.

He was a good husband and father.  A wife and one daughter and numbers of 
relatives and friends are left to mourn their loss.

The last eight years and two months of his life he was a mail carrier.
