She was eleven years old, the daughter of Mr. W.F. and Mrs. Callie Rodgers of Potterville. Also on Sept. 20th the death angel again visited their home taking from their hearts another tender, sweet little bud, John Paul, five years of age. While father, mother and other loved ones feel so deeply this double sorrow, we bow with them in their grief. While Little Louise had been with us only eleven years and little Johnnie but five, but Oh! what a strong hold they had upon our hearts and affections. So strong and deep that it is almost like tearing our hearts in twain to give them up. But we can give them to Jesus for they are his. He loves better than we can love. He says, suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of Heaven. He has taken them to Himself, has freed them from sorrow, suffering, disappointment, and care; but where there is love, joy, peace and happiness undisturbed. God help us while we sorrow, to trust, labor and pray, that when our lives shall have been spent here that we will then be prepared to ascend to the Home of the sweet eternal Sabbath where we can meet again our loved ones dwelling there to be with angels and with Jesus our blessed Saviour where God dwells in majesty and Glory, giving light, life, joy and salvation eternal to those who love and serve him. A.J.
