Mr. James T. Newman

Mr. Jim Tom Newman, age about 28 years, died today at his home at Slocumb, 
Ala., after  a long illness from Bright’s disease.  He was reared here, a son 
of Mrs. Susie Newman, who died only a short time ago.  The news of his death 
brings sorrow to many hearts.

The remains of Mr. Newman will be brought to Butler tomorrow morning for 
interment.
