O誰eal Friends in Butler were very much grieved to learn of the death of Mr. J.T. O誰eal, which occurred at his home in Panhandle district Sunday morning about 10 o団lock. He was confined to his bed only a short time being affected with heart trouble, which made rapid progress in ending his life. Mr. O誰eal was about 66 years old. He was a farmer and had large land interests in his district and manifested great interest in agriculture at which by hard work and earnest endeavor he was eminently successful. He was honest in all his dealings with his fellowman, and often referred to as one of the best neighbors in the county. He was a very public spirited man ever ready to devote his time and talents to the advancement of any cause that was for the public good. His influence will be greatly missed not only in his immediate neighborhood but throughout Taylor County. The remains of Mr. O誰eal were laid to rest in the family lot at Crowell Monday morning, with appropriate funeral service conducted by Rev. J.H. Stanford. The tenderest sympathy of all friends go out to the bereaved ones. Besides the grief-stricken wife, the deceased leaves to mourn his death five children, namely: Mr. John O誰eal, Mrs. Ella Philmon, Miss Tommie O誰eal, all of this county, Mrs. J.M. Underwood, of Fort Valley and Mrs. George Mosley, of Texas.
