Turner Feb. 18th 1913 Mr. D.J. Turner died at his home near Turner’s Chapel, interment being at Turner’s Chapel cemetery Thursday at 10 o’clock, funeral services being conducted by Rev. E.C. Grimsley. Mr. Turner leaves to mourn his death a wife, three children, two boys and one girl, also his father, mother, three sisters and one brother. Mr. Turner had been a member of the church for some time and believed in doing all he could for the church; all who knew him loved him and may God sent a guiding angel to the home that the father has left that those little children may be able to say when grown that our father was a Christian and we want to be like him. Though we have lost a brother in the church we feel that it is Heaven’s gain. A brother in Christ Card of Thanks I do not know how to thank the good people of Taylor County for kindness shown my husband and family all along through his sickness. I know the Lord will reward them for He says so in His word. May God bless us all is my prayer. Mrs. D.J.
