Mrs. Wiggins had every attention from skilled physicians and her daughters, friends and neighbors. She leaves three daughters, one sister and several grandchildren to mourn their loss. Their many friends in Reynolds extend their deepest sympathy to them. Rev. V.P. Scoville officiated at the funeral in a most impressive manner. The Butler Herald Tuesday, March 25, 1913 Page Five Mrs. C.B. Wiggins Died Friday Morning Mrs. Catherine B. Wiggins, who resided in Panhandle district, died Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.M. Windham. The direct cause of death was an attack of indigestion. Interment took place at the family cemetery, near the home, Saturday afternoon, funeral services being conducted by Rev. V.P. Scoville, of Reynolds. A large crowd of sorrowing friends and relatives were in attendance. Mrs. Wiggins was one of the best known and most universally beloved women of the county. She was in the 79th year of her age, and is survived by the following daughters: Mrs. C.M. Windham, Miss Ida Wiggins, of this county and Mrs. Sallie Blackmond, of Pelham, also one sister, Mrs. Joe Walls, of Schley County. Mrs. Wiggins was a member of the Crowell Methodist Church, a true wife, mother and friend, devoting the very best efforts of her long and useful life to the uplift and advancement of her family and friends, never tiring in her loving service to those around her and always measuring up to the highest ideal of Christian womanhood.
