Southland News

Mrs. J.M. Barfield is improving after a long illness.  She was confined to her 
bed on October 7, just after the death of her little boy, Legaruin.  Mrs. 
Barfield was very low for several weeks and it seemed that she could not live.  
Her numerous friends are delighted to know that she is regaining her health.  
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to many friends and Drs. Stewart and 
Jordan, of Ellaville, for kindnesses and assistance rendered.

We desire to thank our neighbors and friends for their many kind deeds shown us 
during the sickness and death of our little boy, Legaruin, who died Oct. 2, 
1913.  Such deeds of kindness will ever be remembered by us.
