Carr passed to the Great Beyond at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Kimble near Delta Sunday April 18th. Her remains were brought to the Potterville cemetery on Monday afternoon and laid beside those of her husband who preceded her to the grave six years ago. Mrs. Carr was stricken with a severe and fatal stroke of paralysis three days previous to her death, never having regained consciousness. She was a woman widely known and much loved by scores of friends as was testified by the large gathering of sorrowing friends present at her funeral. She was 59 years of age and a consistent member of the Baptist church here. She leaves to mourn their loss one daughter, Mrs. Mary Kimble; one son, Robert M. Carr, who has been away from home about 9 years in the service of the U.S. Navy; and one step-son, Willie Carr, of Jackson, Ga. Rev. Robert Blair conducted the funeral service very appropriately. Card of Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kimble extend their heartfelt thanks to all their friends for their kindness and expressions of sympathy to them in the recent death of their mother. Blair conducted the funeral service in a very impressive way. Mrs. Laura Carr and son, Walter, of Macon attended the services of Mrs. T.P. Carr.
