E. Aultman Called To Rest Well Known Citizen Who Had Been Ill Only Short Time, Died Saturday Capt. Emanuel Aultman, one of our oldest and most highly esteemed citizens, died at his beautiful suburban home last Saturday afternoon. He leaves two sons and several daughters to mourn his death. He left his family in good circumstances as he had accumulated a liberal share of this world’s goods. His son, Dr. Rhett Aultman, of Meigs, Ga., and a large number of relatives and friends from Macon, Houston and Bibb counties attended his funeral. He was buried in the Reynolds cemetery by the side of his wife who preceded him two years ago. Capt. Aultman was in the 86th year of his age having passed his 85th birthday last January. He served thru the civil war, gaining there the title that he bore so long. He is survived by a large number of children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. The surviving children are: Dr. I.R. Aultman, of Meigs; Mrs. Mathews and Mrs. Green Harris, of Garden Valley; Judge Hollis Aultman, Mrs. Ella Mims, Mrs. Laura Long and Miss Dovie Aultman, of Reynolds.
