She was 58 years old and a resident of Butler all of her life where she was liked by many white as well as colored friends. She was a prominent character in Eastern Star chapter for colored, in which she filled the office of Matron Martha. She was the sister of Rev. Dan Hall, one of the most prominent colored ministers in this section of the state. The funeral Monday morning was largely attended, the service being conducted by Rev. Wimbish.
