Marshall. Mr. Marshall had been in feeble health for several years from the effects of asthma. About one week previous to his death he had a very severe stroke of paralysis, from the effects of which he never recovered, but patiently lingered until death relieved him of his sufferings. Mr. Marshall was one of the most useful citizens of Reynolds and for many years had charge of the depot agency at Reynolds. He had raised a large family and if we are not mistaken they had all preceded him to the grave. He was a man of great influence but had never united himself with any religious denomination and was highly respected by all who knew him. His remains were interred at Union church in Macon County on Saturday with Masonic honors. The Herald together with many friends offers its sympathy to the bereaved relatives of the deceased.
