Emily Baldwin, wife of Abe Baldwin, col., while out in the lot milking her cow 
died suddenly about six o’clock on Thursday morning last.  No one knew of her 
death until her children began to miss her and went to the lot to see why she 
had not returned and to their surprise found their mother dead.  She was 
apparently in good health up to the time of her death and was considered a 
worthy and industrious woman.  The coroner held an inquest over the remains and 
pronounced her death from heart disease.
