Bynum, died at her home south of Reynolds on Tuesday the 21st Feb. Mrs. Bynum was in the 80th year of her age, and had been a member of Bethel Baptist Church for many years. She had lived a devoted life to the cause she professed and was loved by all who knew her. Mrs. Bynum was in perfect health apparently, to within a few hours of her death and was able to discharge as usual, her domestic duties. She had always lived an active life and was one of the most industrious ladies of the community in which she lived. Her death was a great surprise to her family. On Tuesday night after eating a hearty supper she complained of feeling unwell, and before assistance could be rendered she was a corpse. Her remains were interred at Bethel on Wednesday, the funeral services being conducted by Mr. J.T. Ogburn. She leaves a large family of children and many friends to mourn their loss. The Herald extends its sympathy to the bereaved ones.
