Bligh Monday evening February 26th the hearts of many friends of Walter Parr, were made sad by the announcement of his death near Fickling. He was 19 years of age and had been in bad health for a long time, but had recently had the Grippe to which disease he succumbed. He was a good boy and much loved by his numerous schoolmates and had the highest regard of his teacher. Having been his teacher for several years we speak truthfully, when we say his example was worth a great deal in the school room. He had a bright mind, having at one time learned the entire multiplication table in one afternoon’s study, never having to refer to it afterwards. He was interred at the family burial ground, Rev. H.T. Mosley officiating. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/taylor/obits/ob4964parr.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
