The Death Roll

WILSON

The many friends of Miss Sallie Wilson, will be pained to learn of her death 
which sad event occurred at the Grady Hospital in Atlanta on Thursday last.  
Accompanied by Dr. Edwards of Tazewell she went to Atlanta on Saturday the 14th 
inst., to have a tumor removed from which she had been suffering for several 
years.  She had the attention of the most skillful physicians of the State, but 
we are sorry to say she was unable to stand the operation.  She was about 42 
years of age, a sister of Mr. W.B. Wilson, Tax Collector of this county and a 
most estimable lady.  Her remains were brought to Butler on Friday morning last 
and carried to the home of her brother and interred in the cemetery near his 
home on Saturday.  The surrounding circumstances regarding the death of this 
good lady make it exceedingly sad to her relatives and friends.
