Butler Hearld. dated Sept. 19, 1929.

We regret to learn of the sad death of Mr. John Parker which
occurred Tuesday morning at 2 O'clock.  He had been sick for
some time.  Funeral services and burial were at Horeb church
and cemetery Tuesday P.M. at 4 O'clock.  We extend our
sympathy to the bereaved family. He leaves the following
children to mourn their loss.  Mr. W. D. Parker of this
county; Mr. John Parker and Lize Parker of Talbot County;
Mr. Ed Parker of Lincolnton; Mrs. W.H. Haywood and Mr.
George Parker of Thomaston besides several grand children
and great grandchildren
