Peacock have the sympathy of many friends and loved ones in the loss of their little son, Albert Carson, which occurred Tuesday afternoon after an illness of three weeks from dysentery. His remains were interred in the Bethel cemetery Wednesday afternoon, the funeral service conducted by Rev. J.T. Adams. This was a bright beautiful child, and would have been three years old on the 23rd of next July. This heartbroken father and mother have the sympathy of a host of friends and loved ones in this their sad hour of life. May God comfort, bless and keep them near to Him. The Butler Herald Thursday, June 21, 1917 Page Three In Memory of Little Carson Peacock God in His Allwise Providence saw fit to send one of his brightest angels from heaven to earth to call home Little Carson Peacock, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Peacock, who was born July 21, 1914 and died June 12, 1917. Carson was one of the brightest children we ever knew, was the light of the home and by his affectionate disposition won the love of all. It seems so hard to the heartbroken and fond parents to have to give him up. But our blessed Lord knew best and may they be submissive and say: “Thy will O Lord, and not mine.” Heaven is made brighter by his angelic spirit and the ties are stronger toward drawing the fond parents heavenward. All that could be done for him by skilled physicians, loving parents, relatives and untiring friends was done. He was sick three weeks and suffered intensely, but he bore it well until God relieved him at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon when his little spirit wafted its way to the God who gave it to be with Jesus. May his departure draw each and every one closer together and nearer to God. Carson’s little body was laid to rest at Bethel cemetery on Wednesday afternoon at 4 o’clock, Rev. J.T. Adams conducting the funeral service which was witnessed by a large gathering of sorrowing relatives and friends. May the God of Peace heal the wounded and brokenhearted ones and may they so live as to meet Little Carson in the realms of Glory. By his loving aunt, Mrs. J.H. Harris ------------------- A Card of Thanks We wish to express our many thanks and appreciation to our friends for their many acts of kindness and untiring efforts in the sickness and death of our baby boy.
