Peebles, Mother of Mr. I.F. Peebles, Died at Her Home in Butler This Morning Mrs. S.A. Peebles passed away about 3 o’clock this morning of general disabilities incident to old age, being at the time of her death about 86 years old. She was a woman of rare charm and graces of character. She was the oldest member of the Butler Baptist church and as a Christian exemplified the life of the Master, so long and so many times she had spoken of just waiting for the summons to come. Many whom her life touched in various relationships felt the influence of her noble personality and inspiring demeanor and will now mourn the loss of such a friend. Mrs. Peebles is survived by the following children: Mr. I.F. Peebles, Mrs. M.T. Chapman and Mrs. A.W. Gray. Funeral services will take place tomorrow, the hour of which has not yet been announced.
