Despite her suffering all that loving hands could do was to no avail. Dear Grandmother how we miss you no one knows. But the Lord knew best for the glory of His kingdom. He had a better place prepared for her, and took her where there would be no more sickness, pain or sorrow, nothing but peace, happiness and perfect rest. So we must strive to meet her in that world where we will never part again. There is a shadow in our home, her voice is hushed and still, a vacant place that can never be filled. We would not call her back from perfect peace and rest, but take up life’s burden cheerfully for God does all for the best. Lonely are our hearts today for grandmother has passed away. For several months she had been in feeble health tho she remained up until about seven days before the Lord called her home to rest. Her remains were laid to rest in New Prospect cemetery, funeral services being conducted by Rev. C.H.
