Parks, died at her home at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, after a long illness. Funeral services were held in Howard Methodist Church at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, with Rev. Douglas Green, pastor of the Howard Methodist Church, officiating. Assisted by the Rev. Tegler Greer. Burial was in the Howard Cemetery Family plot. Born in Talbot County, September 12,1891, daughter of the late Robert and Lucy Ingram Cook, she had lived in Taylor County for 48 years. A housewife and mother, she was a member of the Howard Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband; two daughter, Mrs. Clinton Clark and Mrs. Mary Parks of Howard; four sons, Billy and Dale Parks of Howard, George Parks of Macon and Robert Parks of Hillsboro; one brother, M.C. Cook of Greenville; two sisters, Mrs. A.C. Adams of Butler and Mrs. H.H.
