Taylor COUNTY GA Estelle Frior Posey File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Angela Covington http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/taylor/obits/posey.txt Mrs. Posey Dies (The Taylor County News and Butler Herald, Friday, November 4,1966) Mrs. Estelle Frior Posey died at her home in Fort Valley last Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. Born February 12,1886, she was a native of Crawford County. She was a member of Mount Olive Freewill Baptist Church. She married the late Rev. W.B. Posey. Funeral services were held at the Brooks Funeral Home of Fort Valley last Wednesday at 2 p.m. The pastor of the First Baptist Church of Fort Valley officiated. Internment was in Crowell Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Henry Wacter, Macon, and Elmire Posey, Reynolds; nine daughters, Mrs. Bertha Moore, Ft. Valley, Mrs. Louise Blair, Thomaston, Mrs. Maude Cosey, Valdosta, Mrs. Edna Wainwright, Butler, Mrs. Leola Howell, West Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. Annie Gassett, St. Simons Island; and one sister, Mrs. W.L. Lowe, Reynolds.
