The Reynolds New Era  Wednesday, October 22, 1930
Relatives and friends of Mr. Zack Respess were saddened to learn of his sudden 
death in Omaha, Monday.  Mr. Respess was 62 years of age and was reared in 
Butler.  For eighteen years he was prominently connected with the Savannah 
Morning News of Savannah, ga. and leaving there moved to Omaha where he has 
been in the newspaper business until his death.

Mr. respess is survived by his wife and children by a second marriage, all of 
Omaha and by three children, Ella and John, of Atlanta, and Zack Respess of 
Blue Ridge, by his first marriage.  Mr. Respessis also survived by four 
sisters, Mrs. J.E. Mangham and Mrs. H.R. Phillips. of Reynolds. Mrs. Arthur 
Bussey, of Columbus, and Mrs. Pulaski Holt of Rome, Ga.
