Johnnie B Rustin July 7, 1931- April 4, 2008 BUENA VISTA, GA— Johnnie B Rustin, 
76, died Friday, April 4, 2008 at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, GA. Funeral 
services will be held Sunday, April 6, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church 
in Marion County. Rev. David Chapman, Rev. Troy Fripp and Rev. Raymond Smith 
will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. . Mr. Rustin was 
born July 7, 1931 to Nathan M. and Ethel Welch Rustin in Taylor County, GA. He 
was an Army veteran.  Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Foster Rustin; a son 
Ray Rustin (Darlene) of Buena Vista; daughters, Ellen Willis (Edwin) of 
Ellaville, GA, Sally Hagler (Charles) and Susan Rustin Mathews of Buena Vista; 
a sister Carrie Rustin of Texas; a sister-in-law Gaynelle Rustin of Phenix 
City, AL; grandchildren, Amanda Castleberry, Bryan Willis, Colby Rustin & 
Kristy Rich, Crystal & Matt Drew, Randal & Crystal Welch, Meredith Hagler & 
Adam Bryan, and Devan Hagler; and great grandchildren, Mikayla Willis, Dunlie 
Castleberry and Coleton Drew. Tante Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
