Bernice Woodrow "Sonny" Sapp -BUTLER - Bernice Woodrow
"Sonny" Sapp, 68, died Tuesday, June 13, 2005. Graveside
services: 11A.M. Saturday, June 18, 2005 in Midway Cemetery
near Baxley. -Born in Appling County to the late Henry
Linton and Mable Stone Sapp, Mr. Sapp was a retired
maintenance supervisor at Bassett Furniture Company. He
lived in Fort Valley most of his life, served in the United
States Army, worked at Pearson Mills and was a Baptist. For
the past several years, Mr. Sapp enjoyed participating in
activities with the Taylor County Senior Citizens Center. 

-Survivors include children, Brenda and Barney Smith of
Butler, Allison Sapp of Fort Valley, Thomas and Charity Sapp
of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Johnathan
Smith, Christopher Smith, Donna Smith, Tate Sapp, Haley
Warren and Stephen Lackey III; three sisters and two
brothers. 

-The family will meet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Thursday, June 16, 2005 at Rooks Funeral Home in Fort
Valley.  -Rooks Funeral Home in Fort Valley has charge of
arrangements.
