Local News

Liza Terrell, one of the oldest colored citizens of Butler, as well as one of
the best and most favorably known, died Monday following a brief illness.  She
was one of the truest types of the antebellum slaves, and had many white friends
as well as colored who will regret very much to learn of her death.
