She was born in Muscogee county and was 70 years old at her death. Her remains were interred in Little Vine Cemetery, one mile south of Reynolds, GA. She leaves to mourn her death two sons, Thomas Tukes and William Tukes and several grandchildren. The funeral service was conducted at the cemetery by Rev. J. Jordan. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church of Reynolds. We wish to thank the people, both white and colored, for their kindness to us during our mother's illness and also wish to thank Dr. Turke. May the Lord bestow many rich blessings upon you all. She was the wife of Green Tukes, who resided in this county before his death.
