In Memory of Little Eunice Wainwright

On Dec. 20, 1918 the death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. L.N.
Wainwright and took from them a charming little daughter, Eunice.

She was ill with pneumonia only one week and one day when God saw fit to take
her away to a better world above.

May we all live a life that on our departure from this world we may meet little
Eunice in Heaven where there will be no more parting, but all will be peace and
love.

She leaves to mourn her death, a heartbroken father and mother, two sisters,
Mrs. Ida Carter and Mrs. Claudia Hancock and five brothers, Messrs. Aden,
Julius, Jack, Andrew and William, also a dear aunt, Miss Ta(name blurred)
Wainwright who was faithful to the last.

Eunice had just passed here eleventh birthday and had just begun to love her
school work in which she was taking the greatest of interest and it was a very
sad occurrence to her teachers and all her little school-mates to learn of her
sad death.

Eunice was a sweet little girl and her friends were numbered by her
acquaintances which were many.  We would not say to the loved ones, “weep not,”
because Christ himself wept in the presence of death, but they can go to Him who
doeth all things well and find comfort.

We extend to the bereaved family and loved ones our deepest sympathy.

Her remains were laid to rest in the Wainwright cemetery, funeral services being
conducted by Rev. W.R. Lawhorn.
