She was a member of the Freewill Baptist church, wife of Mr. Walton Watson and a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Purvis. Mrs. Watson’s death was attributed to pneumonia from which she had suffered for three weeks. Funeral services were held at Trinity church yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. C. H. Moore. Interment of the remains was in the cemetery nearby. Surviving Mrs. Watson besides her devoted companion are three sons and five daughters, namely: Messrs. George, Lewis and Perry Watson and Mrs. H. G. Pye, Mrs. Z. T. Locke, Mrs. U. G. Wall, Mrs. Dave Harbuck, and Mrs. Cecil Gill. Pallbearers were Messrs. Z. T. Locke, U. G. Wall, Dave Harbuck, H. G. Pye, George Watson and Lewis Watson.
