W.R. WHATLEY CLAIMED BY DEATH Mr. W.R. Whatley of Americus, died at his home at that place and the body was brought to Reynolds for interment in Hill Crest Cemetery Sunday afternoon. Services were conducted from the Reynolds Baptist Church to which faith he belonged. Mr. Whatley is survived by his wife, Mrs. W.R. Whatley and six children, Mrs. William Gregory, Pasley Aultman, Robert, Paul and Carolyn Whatley being the children. Mrs.(Mr?) Whatley's brothers and sisters being Mr. David Whatley of Marshallville, Mr. John Whatley of Garden Valley, Miss Vistoria Whatley, Mrs. Oscar Simmons and Mrs. Jack Barfield of Garden Valley, and Mrs. Jessie Childers of Fort Valley. Mr. Whatley was 52 years of age and had actively engaged in farming as his occupation since very early in life. His friends were numbered by hundreds.
