Burial will follow in Mauk Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Woodall passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at her residence. She was a member of Mauk United Methodist Church. Mrs. Woodall taught school in Taylor County for 26 years and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruric Slocumb and Anice Cole Slocumb; her husband, William Woodall; three brothers, Raymond Slocumb, Donald Slocumb and Pat Slocumb; and a sister, Ann Wise. Survivors include two sons, George (Patty) Woodall of Leesburg and Paul (Kelli) Woodall of Sylvester; three daughters, Marilyn (Tom) Aldrich and Gayle (Bill) Wyrick, both of Mauk and Regina (Chris) Simmons of Byron; three sisters, Marjorie Hobgood of Americus, Rena (Eugene) Cobb of Richland and Peggy Jo Davis of Sylvester; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
