In Jul 1898 I had the pleasure of receiving her into the church by baptism and from that time until she died her life was beautifully consistent with her very modest, but firm profession of faith in Christ. She was a lovely girl both in feature and character. During the last four months of her life, she spoke often of Heaven - her desire and readiness to go. The increasing faith and joy of her inner life was expressed in songs of praise to God while performing her home duties. Her father preceded her several years; her mother in the fall of last year. The latter was for several years a paralytic and perfectly helpless and during these years of suffering, Florine was the patient, loving and sacrificing daughter, who remained faithful to her. This, however was the training school in which the Master made one of his loveliest characters. She died happy in the faith. May her life be sanctified to the comfort and salvation of the sister and brothers who survive her. W.T. Stewart
