This is a photo of Isaac William and Lura Garrett.  The photo was made 
sometime in the late 1920s.  Isaac was known as "Pa Billy" to everyone in 
Taylor County. He was born 12/4/1850 in Wilkinson County, Ga. and was the son 
of John and Gracy Stephins Garrett.  Lura was born on 5/7/1859 in Stewart 
County, Ga. and was the daughter of Samuel and Isabelle Anderson Garrett.  The 
couple were married on 12/24/1874 in Taylor County, Ga.  They had three 
children: Eli, Annabelle/Annie Bell and Ira.  Lura died on 1/19/1938 due to 
complications from pneumonia and Isaac died the following year on 4/8/1939.  
They are both buried at Bloodworth Cemetery - Mt. Nebo Primitive Baptist 
Church.
