John W. Rogers
1866 - 1947

Additional Comments:
John William "Willie" Rogers was the son of Andrew J. and Mary W. Roberts 
Rodgers. Andrew and Mary were married 9 Aug 1864. Willie Rogers was born Jan 
1866 and died 11 Jun 1947 in Taylor Co., Ga and is buried in Prosperity 
Cemetery, Taylor Co., GA. 

John William Rogers married Della Alila Rogers 16 May 1889 according to the 
Family Bible but the official marriage certificate states they were married 15 
May 1892 in Taylor Co., GA by W. P. Wilson J P

The photo of Willie Rogers was furnished to me by Mrs. Stephen Lamar (Juanita 
Virginia Smith) Rogers in Sep 2003. Stephen Lamar Rogers is the son of Willie 
and Della Rogers.
