Calhoun and Miss Mary M. Christopher, were married in the Methodist church at Reynolds, Rev. H. J. Harvey officiating. The following persons acting as attendants: Mr. S. H. Christopher and Miss Emma Calhoun, Mr. G. W. Ingram and Miss Mattie Long, Mr. A. L. Calhoun, Jr., and Miss Anna Christopher. Mr. B. H. Griffith and Miss Alice Long. After the beautiful and impressive ceremony, the groom and bride with their attendants and a few friends, repaired to the residence of the groom’s father, Mr. A. L. Calhoun, Sr., where a sumptuous repast had been prepared for them. We congratulate Mr. Calhoun upon having secured so beautiful and charming a bride, and earnestly hope that he, having won his jewel, may wear it well. May the choicest flowers of happiness be strewn along their path through life, and every cloud have a silver lining.
