The Reynolds New Era  Wednesday, August 27, 1930
DRAUGHON-MONTGOMERY
A marriage of much interest to their many friends was that of Miss Eva 
Draughon to Mr. William T. Montgomery, both of Reynolds, which was solemnized 
at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Draughon, at 2:00 pm 
Thursday, August 14.  Rev. M.O. Williams at the Reynolds Methodist Church 
officiated using the ring ceremony.  Only members of the immediate family were 
present.

The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H Draughon and is a brunette 
of remarkable beauty.  She was educated at Georgia State Teacher's College at 
Athens, since which time she has been engaged in teaching.

The groom is the son of the Mr. and Mrs. Robert Montgomery, of Mauk.  He is an 
enterprising and successful young businessman and at present holds a position 
in the First National Bank here.

Immediately after the marriage they left by automobile for Atlanta from which 
city they will go on their honeymoon to places of interest in the west.

Their many friends wish for them much success and happiness.
