Gaultney – Byrd

Miss Mabel Gaultney, who was one of the lovely graduates of Butler school last
Wednesday evening, and Mr. D.E. (Dock) Byrd were happily married at 4 o’clock
Thursday afternoon at the homeof and by Judge J.W. Gholson in Daviston district.

The bride is the attractive daughter of Rev. and Mrs. M.T. Gaultney, of Five
Points, and one of the most popular young ladies in the county.  As a pupil of
our school she won for herself many warm friends here who will be interested to
learn of her marriage.

Mr. Byrd is a young man of splendid character, an industrious and successful
farmer of Panhandle district.

They have our heartiest congratulations (paper torn).
