Gaultney, Jr. motored to Reynolds late last Thursday afternoon, and in the presence of a few friends who had accompanied them were united in marriage, Rev. H.O. Fowler, the Baptist minister performing the ceremony. The bride is a young woman of splendid intellectual gifts and personal attractiveness. She was reared here and has a wide circle of warm friends who admire her for her gifts of mind and heart and congratulate her on her happy marriage. The groom was reared in the county, a son of Rev. and Mrs. M.T. Gaultney. He is an affable gentleman and has many friends who congratulate him on his good fortune in winning so fair a bride. He recently received his discharge from service in the U.S. army after splendid service of about two years including several months in France. This week he purchased the mercantile business of Mr. W.L. Foy which he will conduct in the future. The couple will occupy the W.L. Foy residence. The Herald joins in best wishes to them.
