Married

At the residence of the bride’s parents on Thursday evening last at 3:30 
o’clock occurred the marriage of Miss Ada B. Peed, of Butler, to Mr. Joe Buff, 
of Winchester, Ga.  The marriage ceremony was performed in a brief but eloquent 
and appropriate manner by Rev. W.E. Vaughn, pastor of the Centinary church, 
Macon, Ga.  The attendants were Miss Viola Buff and Mr. Davis Baldwin, of 
Houston County, besides a large number of friends and relatives of the bride of 
this community.  The bride is the accomplished daughter of Mr. D.J. Peed, and 
one of the kindest and most industrious young ladies of our community, whose 
many virtues will be a light in the community in which she may reside.  Mr. 
Buff is a successful young merchant of Winchester, and stands well in the 
estimation of all in the community in which he lives.  Their many friends at 
home and abroad wish them a long, happy and prosperous life.
