Caldwell, at 1 o’clock p.m. on Wednesday the 11th, inst., by Rev. J.T. Mims, Dr. J.H. McCullough, of Newberry, S.C., to Miss Hattie Glover. Only a few immediate friends and relatives of the bride and groom were present. Dr. McCullough is one of the most promising physicians of South Carolina and graduated with the highest honor at the Medical College of Atlanta last summer, and a gentleman whose intelligence as a physician and surgeon and whose general character will win for him friends wherever he goes. The bride is the daughter of Capt. J.B. Glover, conductor on the Georgia Midland Railroad, and who was raised in our community. She is one of the purest and most refined young ladies of our town, whose many accomplishments will add life and happiness not only to her lover but to all with whom she may associate. We shall ever feel sad the loss of Miss Hattie but she will prove a valuable accession to the society at Newberry. The best wishes of many friends go with her to her new home, and ever pray that he richest blessings of life may attend her and her lover.
