Married

At the residence of the bride’s uncle, Mr. W.N. Benns, at 10 o’clock a.m. 
Wednesday the 11th inst., by Rev. J.T. Mims, Mr. Samuel H. Harris to Miss Ida 
Lumkin.  Only a few friends of the bride and groom attended the marriage, and 
immediately after the marriage the bride and groom left for the residence of 
Mr. J.L. Jinks, where a most elegant reception awaited them at noon.  A warm 
reception was also tendered them at the home of Mr. O.R. Harris at 8 o’clock 
p.m.  Mr. Harris is an enterprising farmer of Wilchar Level, whose industry and 
economy will bring success in life.  The bride has many friends and relatives 
in Marion, Taylor and Talbot counties who will be pleased to learn of her 
marriage, and as she is one of the best and most lovable young ladies in this 
community her absence will be keenly felt.  May all the happiness that life can
