Lipsey, the well known West End merchant, and Mrs. Annie Chapman took place at the residence of the bride, on West Hazel street, West End on Thursday evening. The marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. S.L.Morris, of the Tattnall Square Presbyterian church. This was a home marriage in all respects, none but the relatives and a few friends of the bride and groom being present. After the extension of congratulations the marriage party repaired to the residence of the groom, on Cole street, where an elegant supper was enjoyed, which had been arranged under the superintendence of Miss Louville Lipsey, the daughter of the groom, and to which ample justice was done, amidst the good wishes offered from every hand for the happiness and well being of the bride and groom.
