     To any Judge, Justice of the Inferior Court, Justice of the Peace or 
Minister of the Gospel, you are hereby authorized to join John W. Gassett and 
Frances Roberts in the holy state of Matrimony according to the Constitution 
and the laws of this State and for so doing this shall be your sufficient 
license. 

      Given under my hand and official .....? this Dec 22 1864.

  I hereby certify that John W. Gassett and Frances Roberts were duly joined in 
matrimony by me this Dec 22 1864.

Frances Roberts was Barzilla Frances Roberts daughter of William and Zilphey 
Roberts of Taylor County.Sister of my great grandmother Georgia Roberts(m'd 
Algin Walter Meadows,b 1894 in Taylor County). Frances was the step daughter of 
Lucinda Massey Shirah Roberts. Lucinda Massey was the daughter of Kimbrell and 
Lucinda Massey. Lenorah "Nora" Adeline Shirah(m'd George W. Mathews), George W. 
Shirah (m'd Rhoda Hill) and Thomas A. Shirah (m'd Oda Hill) were her step 
siblings. This is not a form it is written out in a ledger. I typed it as it is 
written.
