They are very popular and have the best wishes of all for a long and happy life. NOTE: Gerry Hill gerryinga@isoa.net Martha Jane "Mattie" Born 22 Jan 1895 died 16 Nov 1978 buried Mt Olive Free Will Bap. Cemetery, Taylor, Ga. Her Parents are John Cater Brown and Malinda Thompson. Does anyone know more on them? Dates? Places? Sikes was Udolphus Sikes Underwood born 28 Jan 1891 died 17 Feb 1972-buried beside wife. He is the child of John Howard Underwood and Martha Jane Amerson... Another son-Howard Failes Underwood was murdered by Bloodworth and the other fellow- is written up in a book- and these two men were the last two to hang in Ga. John Howard was the son of Reuben Underwood and Baralby Rolly Bumby Spain-my ancestors by son Reuben Isham. Martha Jane Amerson was the child of Levi Amerson & Sarah Mary McCullough-- and I have just put portions of John Howard and Martha's bible on line. (I only had one page) This one page proves the death of her Father Levi, and His parents Reuben and Baralby. I would like to exchange on all the above lines...
