Tarver Reynolds and Taylor County friends of Miss Lois Phillips, sister of Mrs. L.M. Lucas of this place and daughter of Mrs. Eliza Phillips of Columbus, will be interested in the announcement of her marriage, which took place recently at a Methodist parsonage in the city of Savannah. Mr. W.O. Tarver, a civil engineer of enviable reputation, was the happy and lucky groom. Miss Phillips has been teaching school from some time at Clyo, Ga., and had completed the spring term just before her marriage. She has ever been from childhood one of the most admired ladies for her beauty and exemplary character of any young woman in our knowledge. We have not had a personal acquaintance with the fortunate groom, but those who best know Mr. Tarver furnish the best testimonials of him as a model gentleman and successful businessman. We learn that Mr. and Mrs. Tarver will make Birmingham, Ala. their future home. The Herald joins other friends in extending good wishes for future health and prosperity.
