Heard of Macon officiating, was one of the most brilliant events of the fall season. The elegant home was elaborately decorated in greens and ferns and white wedding bells. A beautiful arch was erected before the mantle in the parlor and it was here the happy couple took the vows having marched in together to the strains of Mendelssohn’s wedding march played by Miss Annie Cameron, while Miss Nellie Turner played “Soul’s Dream” during the ceremony. The bride’s wedding dress was an exquisite copenhagen messaline satin. Mrs. Robert Strange, of Ellaville, gowned in an exquisite champagne voile and Miss Nettie Ward Frierson, charming in white lingerie hand embroidered in pink, received. The elegant wedding gifts were displayed in the second parlor. At 5:30 o’clock the wedding party was driven in automobiles to the home of Mrs. J.T. Mathews, a sister of the groom, where a lovely reception was held. Mrs. Mathews received her guests in a becoming silk gown and was assisted by Misses Annie and Kate Cameron. Mr. and Mrs. Windham will begin housekeeping in a short while. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 2.3 Kb
