Oliver – Barnes

A very pretty home wedding occurred last Sunday afternoon at the residence of 
Mr. Robert Almon, the bride’s cousin, Miss Volina Oliver, of this county to Mr. 
G. R. Barnes, of Macon County.  The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John 
Oliver, a very attractive and popular young lady.  Mr. Barnes is a very 
prosperous young farmer of Macon County.  The marriage ceremony was performed 
by Judge Rustin, of Charing.
