R. Smith and Miss Carrie Neisler were united in marriage today at noon, Rev. J. E. Seals officiating. The ceremony occurred at the residence of the groom's sister, Mrs .J. C. Sealy. The marriage was a quiet home wedding. No cards were issued and only members of the families of the young couple were present. The bridal couple left on this afternoon's train for Houston, Tex., where Mr. Smith holds an important place as teacher in the public schools of that city, and where he and his bride will reside in future. The community naturally feels proud of this young couple, both of whom were reared here, and who have always contributed so much to the social and intellectual wealth of our town and county. The bride, as Miss Carrie Neisler, has always been a favorite at home and on account of her winsome and charming personality so harmoniously ornamented with those graces of heart and mind that go to make up a beautiful Christian character, she has easily won for herself many friends abroad. She is a graduate of the Normal Industrial college at Milledgeville, while the groom is a graduate of the University of Georgia and has many noble qualities.
