The ceremony was performed by Rev. Richard Orme Flinn, pastor of North Avenue Presbyterian Church, Atlanta, Ga. The above announcement will be the occasion of the most cordial and sincere congratulations as the couple is prominent and popular here. Miss Mary Scandrett is known as one of the most beautiful young women of the city. For the wedding which occurred yesterday morning at 11 o’clock, she wore a stunning suit of midnight blue tricotine, with hat of seal, combined with bold brocade, trimmed with monkey fur. Dr. Persons is prominent in business and social circles, and is owner of the Persons Drug Store. He is receiving congratulations from a host of friends. The couple left immediately after the ceremony for New York City, where they will be three weeks, on their return to the city they will have an apartment with Mrs. Goodloe, on Georgia Avenue.
