Taunton, home of the bride, were united in marriage, Miss Susan Taunton and Mr. Lester D. Shirah. The bride wore a beautiful dress of blue satin. Mr. Shirah is a young man of excellent character and is a prosperous farmer. We believe he has made a wise choice in the selection of a wife. The ceremony was performed by Rev. John Locke in a most impressive manner. Only relatives and a few close friends of the bride and groom being invited. The room was decorated with holly and ferns. Amidst showers of congratulations and good wishes the happy young couple left immediately after the ceremony which was at three o'clock, Sunday afternoon Feb. 2nd, for their future home near Bateman's mill where Mr. Shirah has a nice little home.
